This is the 6th year for the Berkey Avenue Youth Summer Camp designated fund. Once again this year, 50+ youth from the Berkey Avenue congregation are eligible to attend a week of summer camp at either Camp Amigo (ages 4 thru 18) or Camp Friedenswald (grades 1 thru 12). Last year 2 youth received assistance from this fund. A week of summer camp represents an investment of between $130 and $300 (most weeks are $300). The fund operates as a stand alone designated fund (does not receive church budget dollars). The opening balance of the fund this year is $220.00. We invite you to consider making a contribution to Berkey Avenue’s Youth Summer Camp designated fund. It currently appears that both Amigo and Friedenswald will be able to offer some form of summer camp this year. If we receive requests for financial assistance for campers we would like to be able to continue to give generously.
