This is the 5th year for the Berkey Avenue Youth Summer Camp designated fund. Once again this year, 50+ youth from the Berkey Avenue congregation are eligible to attend a week of summer camp at either Camp Friedenswald (grades 1 thru 12) or Camp Amigo (ages 4 thru 18). Last year 8 youth received assistance from this fund. A week of summer camp represents an investment of between $130 and $300 (most weeks are $300). At the present time the fund operates only as a designated fund (does not receive church budget dollars). The opening balance of the fund this year is $0.00. We invite you to consider making a contribution to Berkey Avenue’s Youth Summer Camp designated fund this month. We again anticipate several requests for financial assistance and would like to be able to continue to give generously.
