Earlier this summer, Shalom Mennonite Church in Indianapolis asked for help to reunite an immigrant family that had been separated for nearly two years. Shalom extends their sincere thanks for our contribution and writes, “With your support, interest and prayers, Gemina was released on bond in mid-July from the Eloy Detention Center in Arizona. Additional hearings will be scheduled but we are hopeful that a long term solution will be found so that the family can stay together.” Shalom’s letter is posted on the Mission bulletin board for you to read.
