Starting this Sunday, October 11, Dan Schrock will teach an adult class on Paul’s letter to the Philippians. This class will be offered on Zoom immediately after our Zoom worship service. It will run for ten weeks, concluding on December 13. Dan has prepared a study manual which has the complete text of Philippians, along with short essays that describe some of the cultural context that Paul lived and worked in during the first century Roman Empire. If you want to participate in this class, email Dan at dan@berkeyavenue.org, specifying whether you want a PDF or a paper copy. Each Sunday, participants should read the material for the day (usually 2-3 pages) so that most of the class time can be devoted to conversation.
