Stephen Ministry training classes have begun for our new Stephen Ministers, Laverne Nafizger, Al and Carla Weldy. Peter Shetler, a Stephen Leader, is also in the class. So far they have had six sessions, meeting each Wednesday evening at Waterford Mennonite Church. Topics have been on being a caregiver, feelings, listening, Christian caregiving, what it means to walk with someone rather than solve problems, and assertiveness. Next week the topic will be on boundaries. Please pray for those in the class as well as the presenters.
