In keeping with our Safe Church policy, we are encouraging a brief, one hour training session for all persons who volunteer at Berkey. On February 3rd, adult Sunday School classes will not be meeting to allow people to attend a training in the sanctuary led by Brenda Yoder, bureau speaker for Dove’s Nest, the child abuse prevention organization of Mennonite Church USA. For those who cannot make this training, it will be offered again on March 3rd, 4:00 p.m., at Berkey. If you cannot make either of these sessions, please contact Pastor Joanne to make other arrangements. Thank you for doing your part in helping keep vulnerable people in our congregation safe.
