Each year we harvested between 500 and 700 pounds of potatoes which were divided between The Window and folks in the Berkey community. This past year was James Yoder’s last year for organizing this effort, but he would be glad to consult with anyone who would like to take on this project. If you would like to learn about about the various facets of growing potatoes, including potato bug identification from egg to adult, weed control, storing potatoes for a new crop, planting, and harvesting, please contact James.
