Sabbath Hike Series: Autumn Change
Sun., October 20, 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Meet at the Farmstead site; then carpool to Luckey’s Landing to enjoy the rich colors October provides, with gratitude for the changes that add color to our lives. This is the final hike in the Sabbath Hike Series, designed for adults or older youth seeking reflective time away from the busyness of the work week. Donation only.
The Enchanted Forest
Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
The Enchanted Forest Need an alternative to spooks and ghosts and candy? At this Halloween alternative, families take a night hike by lantern light and meet friendly animals who tell about their lives and habits. Hot chocolate, pretzels and music complete the evening. Dress warmly and meet at the Farmstead Barn. Children are welcome to come in costume. Cost: $2.50 per person.
