A new Sunday School class, “Tending Our Souls for Men” has started meeting in the Children’s Music Room, the classroom directly across from the nursery with musical notes on the door. The class format is based on a style of prayer from Ignation Spirituality. It is not a ‘Thought for the Day’, a sermon or a bible-study, but rather a framework for your own prayer. The aim is to help us become more aware of God’s presence in life, to listen to and reflect on God’s word and to grow in our relationship with God. If you want a class that engages in extensive discussion of issues, this is NOT the class for you. If you would like a class that embraces God in scripture, silence and contemplation, you are welcome.
