Friends, here are some guidelines for the church newsletter and emails. Hopefully these will be helpful the next time you have an announcement to share with the congregation:
The Owl Newsletter is the perfect space for you to share announcements. The newsletter goes out to more than 200 inboxes and is also posted on Facebook and on the Berkey website. To submit an announcement, email the office before Thursday noon. Anything received after that will be posted the following week. Announcements run between 1-3 weeks.
Emails sent to the whole congregation are restricted to Berkey’s church life.They include prayer requests, death announcements, and occasional reminders about whole church functions such as a congregational meal or meeting.
