What: Brunch and sharing of Christian formation ideas for our kids
When: Saturday, March 28, 10-12
Where: The Church
Kids will have supervision and activities available in Jubilee Hall so that parents can enjoy fellowship over brunch, coffee, and sharing ideas together!
The idea for our gathering is two-fold. First, everyone loves brunch! Please bring a dish to share. Second, this is an opportunity to share an idea or two that has been meaningful for your family with the goal of teaching and inviting our kids into Christian faith in our homes. Do you have a prayer your kids like that you could share? What about the ABC scripture memorization idea some of you have going? A mealtime, bedtime, Advent, or Easter tradition? A favorite book that teaches a concept that is powerful for our kids? Let’s take the pressure off of finding these ideas on our own and share ideas we already have! You can prep your idea at the brunch or bring something along to share. The goal is to take home lots of ideas, copied if needed. And if you’re coming up blank, come anyway! We are NOT trying to wow anyone with our super parenting skills, and we’ll have plenty of ideas and fellowship.
How other Berkey folks can help:
- Childcare: It would be wonderful to have 1-2 people plan some activities for the kids as well as 3-4 additional people to help facilitate childcare during our time together. This would be a huge gift to us.
