Kari Heusinkveld (’08) will be inducted into the Elkhart County Sports Hall of Fame at its annual supper and induction ceremony on Saturday, November 15. Tickets for the banquet are $25 and may be purchased at Bethany through November 7.
Kari was a three-sport athlete (soccer, basketball, and softball) at Bethany, earning 12 varsity letters and was selected as Bethany’s senior athlete of the year. She continued playing basketball at Hesston and Goshen Colleges.
In basketball at Bethany her 88 games played is the most by any girls player. She finished her illustrious prep career with the second highest totals in points (1035), free throw percentage (70.1), steals (159), and field goals made (363).

In softball her 72 stolen bases rank first and her .354 batting average 10th.
