Local couple, Chris and Erin Hipsher, are working together with Both Ends Burning (BEB), a non-profit advocacy organization that promotes adoption as a solution for children without parents. The Hipshers have felt called to help with this, as they are in the process of adopting a boy named Terefe from Ethiopia. Each of God’s beautiful children deserves a loving family to call their own.
BEB has produced the heartwarming documentary STUCK. This film reveals the problems with the current international adoption system that often prevents those kids from finding a home with loving parents. On Saturday, April 5 at 3:00, the Hipshers are hosting a free community event showing of this documentary at the Elkhart County Historical Museum in Bristol (304 W. Vistula Street). Following the movie, there will be some time to reflect on the movie and hear from guest speakers, author Kim de Blecourt and BEB representative Dawn Stark. Please plan to attend, as all are welcome.
