One in four Elkhart County children is food insecure, an alarming statistic that highlights the need here in our own community. We invite you to attend a showing of “A Place at the Table,” a documentary exposing the harsh realities of hunger in America. Maple City Market is sponsoring the showing of this film as part of Goshen’s Share the Bounty week (http://www.transitiongoshen.org/bounty), and a special showing will take place Friday, November 22 in Elkhart. Join us at 7:00 p.m. at New Life Community Church (210 S Main St. Elkhart) to watch the film, and stay for a short discussion afterward. The film is free and open to the public, with donations accepted for Church Community Services.
