New titles for the library this week include:

Readers are guided to imagine themselves as participants in the often messy drama of church life.
- The Farmer’s Bride by DiAnn Mills, et al: 6 romances spring from hearts, home and harvest in this collection of fictional down-on-the farm stories by several authors.
- True Stories of the X-Amish as told to O. A, Garrett: this book gives those who left the Old Order Amish an opportunity to tell their side of the story without trying to portray the Amish as a corrupt group of religious people.
- Surely Goodness & Mercy by J. Daniel Hess: Seventy Stories from the memory of the author, sometimes exaggerated and sometimes understated. The warm memories cause the author to think of the three things that would follow him all the days of his life: surely, goodness, and mercy.
- The Judge said “20 Years” by Julius Eichel: The story of a conscientious objector in World War I. The detailed account of Julius, who was the only American imprisoned in both world wars for refusing to be drafted. He wasn’t an Anabaptist, as you might think, but Jewish.
